College football game day is the perfect excuse for making a batch of this delicious Super Simple Salsa. Ok, actually any occasion is a good excuse to whip some up! If you crave restaurant salsa like I do then you’re going to love this recipe. It takes just minutes to prepare and makes a huge bowl. Enough to share with everyone and still have plenty left for yourself! It’s a pretty mild salsa which I like but you can add diced jalapenos if you need a little more kick!

Ingredients
- 4 14.5 oz cans petite diced tomatoes
- 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 2 tsp oregano leaves
- 1 T garlic salt
- 2 T crushed chili pepper
- 2 T garlic powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor until combined.
That’s it! I’m guessing a proper chef would tell you to let it sit in the refrigerator for awhile to let the flavors combine but we like it fresh from the food processor. You can also stir in a chopped avocado if you’d like and garnish with some chopped cilantro if you want to make it look pretty. Hope you enjoy it! And remember, you’ll need to have plenty of chips on hand!
